Reflection music group (RMG) signs new artist Danielle Apicella. The 19 year old New Yorker will bring R&B onto the roster alongside Veteran talent Derek Minor, Doc Watson, and Canon. Upon RMGs new artist reveal Danielle made her debut with the single “Silly girl”.
The song is called Silly girl, the lyricism? Heartfelt. The song tells a story of a younger Danielle who as the song says “I gave my heart away to someone deep down I knew inside would never really stay. I wish I could go back and warn her to just stay away”.
Her statement is that “This song is about falling in love with someone you shouldn’t have. I’m warning my younger self to be more wise in whom I choose to give my heart to.”
Her music appears to be having a positive impact on the youth. When asked a new time listener (baby cousin who is 11) in her on words “it was good and it also makes little girls not make the same mistake as she did”.
