Samuel Onwubiko popularly known as Limoblaze started his music career in the year 2012. The music artist was born in Nigeria. He has shown his hard work by winning several awards including the Best International Act at the Premier Gospel Awards in 2019 as well as the AGMMA Afro Hip Hop Artist Of The Year. Some of his released albums include Afrobeats Rap and Jesus (2019), Blind (2016), and Before Now (2018).
Throughout his career, Limoblaze has done several collaborations with various gospel artists such as Gil Joe, S.O., Called Out Music, and Okey Sokay. Limoblaze had aspired to do a collaboration with the artist Da’ Truth and his dreams came true. He partnered with the hip-hop artist Da’ Truth and they released an album called Bridges. This was Limoblaze’s third album in his career. The album features various songs which include Sound of Victory, Go Like, Stupid Love, and African Church Boy.
The song Stupid Love, featured in the album, describes God’s love being beyond human comprehension as well as unconditional. The album Bridges has been discovered to be a hope-filling album that fuses Afrobeat and hip-hop in these polarizing and dark times. Its lyrics, beats, and energetic melodies are usually fun and mostly make you dance often. The provocative themes will mostly make you think and contemplate.
The cover art of this album mostly signifies the coming together of America and Nigeria. Also, the album features police officers indicating the protests that have been going through due to police brutality in the countries.
Da’ Truth, the leading voice in the gospel music industry has shown its impressive work for almost 20 years in the industry. Almost 250,000 records have been sold worldwide. Da’ Truth has won various prestigious awards including three Dove Awards and two Grammy’s. During an interview, Da’ Truth said that their newly released album was purposed to move the culture ahead by building bridges and not barriers. The album has shown its powerfulness since it usually has its listeners hooked due to its tracks which radiates a powerful impression.
Limoblaze has had many inspirations that have made him be where he is today. Even during this period of the pandemic, he has left many surprised as he termed it as the best times so far in his life. He claimed that God’s love has really placed him in a great position in the gospel music industry. Limoblaze has always wished to do a little extra and that’s what has been pushing his music to an extra mile. As an independent artist, it signifies how hard Limoblaze has been working to achieve his goals. In his beginnings, Limoblaze thought he would become a doctor. Actually, he is a trained biochemist. Eventually, music caused a change in his mind because he knew that music wouldn’t work for him if he became a doctor. He often claimed that he needed something which would not take his life for the rest of his life. Many people usually don’t know that Limoblaze is also an actor. In fact, he has been in a few movies but decided to pause first due to some personal reasons. He promises to return in the future.
When Limoblaze started making music, he used to be more of a rapper. In fact, he has four EP’s and two Hip-hop albums. Currently, he is more on afrobeat because he claims that there is market tuning to that right now. There has been a misconception about hip-hop being a secular genre by several religious outfits but Limoblaze pointed out that people believe according to the knowledge they are exposed to. This was after he was questioned about it.
Before doing a collaboration with Da’ Truth, he had always looked up to him. Both Da’ Truth and Lecrae were his motivators. Feedbacks and testimonies from people who listen to his songs are usually his greatest fulfillments and this is what mostly keeps him moving forward.

He has achieved his dream after a collaboration with Da’ Truth.
